A love poem to old wood
Our client’s center channel speaker weighed over 30 pounds. Commercially available wall mounts did not inspire confidence. Stern Laboratories was invoked. In exchange for verified destruction of the invocation sigil, we applied ourselves to the problem.
The result is ridiculously overbuilt: malleable black iron pipe fittings and weathered barn wood with a silvery patina. There is an argent dignity to boards that have endured decades of sun in the American West. It cannot be found in any other material.
